Pump the cleaner on liberally. Wait like 10 minutes and then rinse from the inside of the filter out. Let it dry and don't leave in sunlight. I let it dry for 24 hours in the shade and the next day sprayed the oil lightly to just cover the fibers. Do not overdo it! Just go once around and leave it for a couple of minutes. You'll see the oil has spread a good bit and lightly touch up any lighter areas. I then left that dry for about 12 hours and reinstalled. Review: Great kit to keep Green Filter clean! - Cleaning the filter was much easier than expected, you'll probably get a few cleanings out of this kit. Don't over-oil your filter and you'll be fine.
