Review: Cute and sounds nice! Fun to figet with - Cute gift! Fun to mess with and learn some random tunes. Got it for my partner to figet with. Good price for it too
Review: Mini Kalimba – Perfect for On-the-Go Music Lovers - Design: 5/5 The mini kalimba is super cute and compact! It has a sleek, polished wood finish that makes it visually appealing. Its small size makes it extremely portable, so you can easily take it with you anywhere. The design is minimalistic but charming, and it’s a perfect size for those who want to experiment with music without investing in a full-sized kalimba. Sound Quality: 4/5 For its small size, the sound is surprisingly rich and pleasant! The notes are clear, and the tone is soothing. However, being a mini version, the volume isn't as loud as a standard kalimba, so it may not carry in larger spaces. That said, it’s perfect for personal play or a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. If you’re looking for something to practice or play casually, this mini kalimba definitely delivers. Build Quality: 4.5/5 The kalimba is well-built with smooth, comfortable metal tines that are easy to play. The wood is sturdy and feels solid, though being mini, it might not have the same depth or resonance as larger instruments. The tines are durable, but since it's small, be cautious not to apply too much force during play to avoid damaging them. Overall: 4.5/5 If you're new to kalimbas or simply love the idea of a smaller, more portable version of the instrument, this mini kalimba is a fantastic option. It’s fun to play, and while the sound may not be as loud as a full-sized version, it still offers a great musical experience. Whether you’re a beginner or a casual player, it’s a great way to enjoy music wherever you go.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be tuned, and how? I purchased 2 for my grandkids; one is in tune, the other sounds horrible.**
A: You can download an app called Kalimba Tuner. I have a big Kalimba, that's what I use to tune it. I also have a Kalimba tuning hammer that came with my big one. I just searched for a kalimba tuning hammer here on Amazon and they have them. Hope this helps! :)

**Q: Is the protective box the description says it comes with just the packaging?**
A: It’s just a cardboard box

**Q: Does it come with a music book?**
A: No my did not come with a music book

**Q: How loud is this? Would it be an too loud for a toddler on an airplane?**
A: I would say no. If you think it’s a good idea to give a toddler something annoying on an airplane chances are there are plenty of other reasons people will be requesting to change seats.
