They should say that the hydraulic hand crumper is required to avoid purchase of a hand crimped and having to return and purchase of a hydraulic crimper. It is a waste of effort for the purchaser and lost revenue for the importer and Amazon. The fittings otherwise work well and sport to be of marine grade stainless steel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well in 4 x 4 posts. Not recommended for 2 x 4s. *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2019* The entire assembly is best used in 4 x 4 installations to keep the swaged ends of the stud and stemball hidden. For swaging both ends, I recommend using a hydraulic swager. I purchased the Senmit swager. When installing in wood, the washer provided for the stemball is not large enough and therefore is not effective for tightening the cable.
