Now that I have been using Nailtiques for 3 months, my nails are strong and I don't always put a new coat on everyday. Maybe wraps would work at this point, though the product does start to lift and peel after 7-10 days, when I start new layers. **Q: i just ordered the plus 2 is it alright to start out with that** A: I have use Nailtiques #2 exclusively for years. I started with it and stay with it. It's formulated for dry, brittle, splitting nails. I love what it does to my nails. I actually hate going without it because my nails feel naked. Even just one thin coat helps with strength, but as I reapply thru out the week it gets better. I like the gloss finish it adds to my nails. When I’m not wearing it my nails feel thin, so while the product works, I’m not sure it’s making any significant changes to my naked nail. It’s so easy to apply though, literally dries in seconds, so I don’t mind if this is a permanent step in my nail care. My one complaint is that the last roughly 1/3 of the bottle gets thick and hard to work with so there’s some product waste.
