Review: Effective Bird Strike Window Stickers – Easy to Apply and Cute - So far, these anti-collision bird stickers are working great! Our backyard borders farmland, so we get a lot of bird activity. Our large sliding glass doors had become a problem, with doves occasionally flying into them. Thankfully no serious injuries, but it was enough for me to want a solution right away. I chose these stickers based on good reviews, and they’ve been easy to use. They’re applied on the outside of the glass—just clean the surface first, then carefully peel and stick. The stickers are thin but feel sturdy, like they won’t rip or tear. They do bend easily during application, so it helps to go slowly, starting at one edge and working across. The stickiness is excellent—they adhere very well once placed. From the bird’s perspective outside, they seem quite visible. What used to look like open sky in the reflection now has bird shapes across the glass, which should help prevent collisions. From indoors, they actually look kind of cute! I may have used more than necessary, but I like the look—and figure more coverage is better for the birds. So far, I haven’t noticed any collisions since putting them up, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I’ll update if anything changes, but right now I’m very happy with them.

**Q: Should these be placed on the inside or outside of the windows?  Manufacturer says inside, yet I see people are placing them on the outside?  Thanks!**
A: I most likely did inside because it was cold and I did not want to g outside.  Ever since I did, no more birds hitting the windows!!!

**Q: I have very dark tinted windows will the birds see them if I place them inside or should I put them outside**
A: I don't think the birds will be able to see them if you place them on the inside..  For best results they should be placed on the outside so they will help break up the reflection of the sky and trees, which is what causes the birds to fly into the glass.  Before purchasing these I consulted the websites for the Humane and Audubon Societies and that is what I found.  I have had mine up for a while now.  I put them on the outside and it has made a huge difference .

**Q: Anyone ever have these stickers get, “baked on” by direct sun?**
A: Mine are installed inside of the window and have not baked on.  They have been up for about 10 weeks.

**Q: Are these stickers easily removed when ready?**
A: These stickers are easy to apply and easy to peel off with no residue whatsoever

Easy to use and love the different designs. Just wished they were different in size. Description and pictures had me thinking they were various sizes. But it is doing its job. We had no more birds hit our window and I like the overall look.
