For DIGITAL servos only, though! - This synchronizer was a total game changer on my Consew 206RB-5! It was a little funky to install, but every machine setup is different. The hardware you're given is basically just so you can make something work. I don't think there's really a dedicated "install kit" so do whatever works & you'll be good. As long as it doesn't interfere with your bobbin winder or anything else, it's fine. Having the ability to end my stitching needle down (or up, if that's your jam) and pivot my work is so rad! It makes sewing things like Velcro tabs a snap! One thing, though: you DO need a servo motor, AND it has to be a DIGITAL servo motor. That's a little tidbit I didn't know until I got the synchronizer and read the instructions, but thankfully I bought a digital servo motor to replace my Family brand non-digital servo at the same time I bought this. Install may not be for everyone. *by C***R on June 9, 2023* I have purchased two of these now. One for a Juki lu-563 and one for a Seiko CW-8B-1. I absolutely love them. They make sewing some much more convenient. I set mine up to always stop needle down so turns can be made with out touching the wheel and a quick back tap on the pedal lifts the needle for material removal. While these are amazing they are in no way plug and play nor do they include any instructions. For the Juki I had to make a custom mount as the machine has no hole for the threaded rod. For the Seiko the included bolts wouldn't fit in the wheel so I had to find one that was properly threaded and again had to create custom mounting. Getting the needle position stoping points are a matter of trial and error so be ready to fiddle with it to dial it in. Though it may not be plug and play it definitely is set it and forget it.
