It has nice thick pages that take ink well. The bullets are at a good size for journaling or artwork, particularly Celtic knots.The only reason I do not like this book is because of the ugly yellow elastic band, book marker and pen holder. All in yellow. I like basic black and this is just a personal preference but one that I felt lead to note here. All the other colors have a matching elastic, book marker and pen holder. If I over color with my brush pens the color seeps a little through but never anything dramatic or noticeable!
