I use it a few times a week to monitor weight loss / gain. I have confidence knowing that it is consistent and dependable.The weight takes about 5 seconds to register - the numbers fluctuates within 1 pound when stepping on, and you must remain still until the number on the display starts blinking. At that point you can step off of the scale and the number remains on the display for about 20 seconds. Stepping back onto the scale after the display turns black then results in the same reading almost every time. Also, no need to tap a foot onto the scale to wake it up. Just stand on it and remain motionless and wait for the reading.Another thing I like about this scale is the width and length - I'm 6'2" with size 12 feet that are wide. I don't have an issue with foot space, width of the scale, or covering the display when standing on it. I've never once felt like I was swaying / going to tip over, and I've never had an issue with accidentally stepping to close to a corner / side of the scale and had it tip over - meaning the rubber feet underneath are nice and close to the corners making for good stability.I use this on a hard tile floor so I can't speak for use on carpet or softer materials. Also it doesn't have bluetooth or wifi connectivity - those things didn't matter to me, I was looking for size, a nice display, and consistency. If these are qualities you are looking for (as well as a good price point), this scale is a great choice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Very satisfactory *by N***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2016* My new scale arrived when promised and in good shape. When I first stepped on the scale it said I weighed 113 lbs. Now, that would be lovely but is, sadly, far from accurate. I suspected the problem might be the slightly uneven surface I had it on. When I switched it to the tile floor in the bathroom it read a much more realistic figure, and no, I'm not telling you what that was but it was significantly more that 113. The read-out dances around for a bit before settling on a weight which it then pulses at you. With these old eyes, I like the large, bright read-out. I'm guessing the black glass surface will require frequent cleaning but it just shows what my old scale hid. It takes 4 AAA batteries which is more convenient that the unusual type batteries in my old scale. I've only had it a few days but so far I'm quite satisfied. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars A great scale that skips the zeroing step *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2015* Great scale, I love that I do not have to tap it and wait for a zero. Just step on and it gives a reading within 2 seconds. This should be the standard for all scales as saves a huge amount of time as 5-10 seconds of extra waiting everyday adds up!The reading stays on the screen for about 20 seconds before automatically turning off. If you want to re-weigh or have another person use it you simply have to tap the surface to re-zero. The blue lcd looks sharp but is slightly difficult to read unless at the correct angle.I paid full price for this product.
