**Q: Does it come with instruction manual?**
A: Thank you for the question. Yes it does have a manual in both English and French. Also, instructions are on the box and the unit itself.

**Q: I have 3v 300ah lithium iron phosphate batteries. If I wire 4 in series to get 12v will it indicate if a bad cell is present within those 4 batteries?**
A: It kind of depends on your definition of bad. If you know how much current the cell stack should support and maintain a particular voltage it will tell you that. This is really to evaluate batteries used for starting where maximum delivered current is more important than amp hour capacity. This more or less less you evaluate internal resistance. If you want to know bulk capacity in terms of amp-hours this is not the right tool.

**Q: Does this have the small gauge wires in parallel with the main cables as you can see in the picture? I know this gives you a more accurate voltage.**
A: There is a separate wire for voltage reading, however on the more recent models, it runs inside the main power cable insulation, for added protection.

**Q: Can you use this when battery is hooked up in car**
A: No problem hooking up to the battery with the battery cables attached to the car.

    Basic Load Tester that Does The Job

I wanted a unit at home that I could test a battery with. The price on this was reasonable so I ordered one. When It came in I took it to work with me and used it for a few weeks checking batteries at the shop. Works fine, the only complaint I have is the load activation dial is not spring loaded and has no stop when backing off. It will just keep turning. Keep that in mind. Just back it off till no load is shown and maybe a quarter to half a turn extra.. Other than that it works fine. Just a basic battery load tester that does the job. Great for home use

This tester works well.  It does have separate voltage sensing cables within the main current carrying cables.  It's a nice effective test tool for not a whole lot of money.
