They are made of brass, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and other materials that resist corrosion, pressure, and wear. Hose fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, barbed, push-to-connect, dry disconnect, and others including those based on internationally-accepted specifications. Hose fittings are used in systems such as air compressors, automatic manufacturing operations, aircraft controls, and tire installation in industries including agriculture, mining, road construction, firefighting, and aviation. Anderson Metals manufactures brass fittings, valves, and pipe nipples. The company, founded in 1951, is headquartered in Kansas City, MO. ## Features - Adapter for connecting a hose to a male threaded connection of a different diameter - Hose barb on one end and male NPT threads on the other - Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability - Barbed fitting for a tight seal on hoses and NPT threads for a tighter seal than straight threads - These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B005DSTC6W | | Best Sellers Rank | #153,895 in Industrial & Scientific (See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific) #693 in Barbed Hose Fittings | | Brand Name | Anderson Metals | | Color | Brass | | Connector Type | Barb X Npt Male | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (1,831) 4.7 out of 5 stars | | Exterior Finish | Brass | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00719852936121 | | Included Components | hose barb | | Item Highlight | Brass Long Anchor Coupling Joins Two Male 3/8 Inch Pipe Threads End to End Across a 1-5/16 Inch Length | Part #28303 | | Manufacturer | Anderson Metals | | Manufacturer Part Number | 57001-0606 | | Material Type | Brass | | Model Number | 57001-0606A | | Number Of Packs | 1 | | Number Of Pieces | 1 | | Size | 3/8" Hose ID x 3/8" NPT Male | | Thread Type | NPT | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upc | 719852936121 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Anderson Metals - **Color:** Brass - **Connector Type:** Barb X Npt Male - **Exterior Finish:** Brass - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00719852936121 - **Manufacturer:** Anderson Metals - **Material:** Brass - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **Size:** 3/8" Hose ID x 3/8" NPT Male - **Thread Type:** NPT ## Images ![Brass Long Anchor Coupling by Anderson Metals, 3/8" FPT x 3/8" FPT - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/7109rzIIdOL.jpg) ![Brass Long Anchor Coupling by Anderson Metals, 3/8" FPT x 3/8" FPT - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71AXx3l3TqL.jpg) ![Brass Long Anchor Coupling by Anderson Metals, 3/8" FPT x 3/8" FPT - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41vDnv3e5pL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Anderson Metals 57001 Brass Hose Fitting, Adapter, 3/8" Barb x 3/8" NPT Male Pipe - U.S. Solid 3/8" Electric Solenoid Valve 12-VDC, VITON Gasket, Air, Gas, Fuel Normally Closed - Joywayus Brass Hose Fitting,90 Degree Elbow,3/8" Barb x 3/8" NPT Male Pipe Water/Fuel/Air (Pack of 2) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/16245958-brass-long-anchor-coupling-by-anderson-metals-3-8-fpt](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/16245958-brass-long-anchor-coupling-by-anderson-metals-3-8-fpt) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
