They even include touches of humor. The pictures are helpful and the entire thing can be assembled without swearing even once. That's a miracle table right there.The table is painted particle board, but care was taken with the finish, the holes were neatly drilled, and the table looks fine when assembled. It's not fancy furniture but it's serviceable and looks presentable. The construction is solid and the table does not wobble.I needed a small table to hold our router, modem, and phone tower. It's perfectly sized for that. I have it sitting next to a tv stand in an espresso finish and the color difference is negligible. We needed a little decorative table to hold my wife's phone, some books, and a small lamp next to the rocker in our nursery. I had trouble finding the right piece for a reasonable (low) price at many other retailers, but then I came across this one. It was easy enough to put together with a screwdriver; I didn't even have to get off the couch. I reinforced all the joints with wood glue as I built it.Now, certainly you have to have the right expectations for a piece like this. It's cheap fiber board with a thin veneer. I wouldn't dare get it wet, sit on it, put my feet on it, or expect it to last decades. But for the price, I think it looks good, the hardware was good, and it is the perfect solution for our table needs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive table but looks very nice *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2016* This is of course a very inexpensive side table, and it's not going to be an heirloom quality piece of furniture. However, I think it's an excellent value for the price. I purchased this as a second side table for my bedroom, and it fits the bill perfectly. It's just the right size and height to work as a side table. There's plenty of surface for a lamp, a book, whatever else you might put on a night stand. The cinnamon cherry color matches very well with my espresso headboard. I like the clean, simple lines of this table. It doesn't add any bulk or clutter to the room. It was just right for me.Assembling this table was mostly fairly easy. There are no tools included so please be aware you need at least a hammer and a Phillips screwdriver. I actually used a small drill with a Phillips head for most of the screws, as they are hard to do by hand if you aren't very strong. I also resorted to a flat head screwdriver for attaching the "hidden connectors" that hold the top on. That was really my only issue with assembly. The "hidden connectors" screw straight down (up?) into the top and are, as the name implies, hidden once connected. There is just not much room to get a screwdriver into the space to screw them in. I switched to a flat head, which helped, but I was not able to get them as tight as I'd like. I will have to retighten them later to get a better hold. However, the table is holding together fine as is; just not as tight as I'd like. The rest of the table was a breeze to assemble, and the instructions were fairly clear, especially if you've assembled this type of furniture before.My table did arrive with one little scratch on the surface, but it's barely noticeable once it's in the room. The finish is nice for this type of particle board furniture. It looks much, much more expensive than it was, for sure.
