I tried for awhile to use one plumber's wrench to brace the threaded side so I could use my huge adjustable wrench to take off the housing adaptor. Needed two people and after alot of effort nothing budged. So I thought I'd try this as the only other option was a plumber and sprayed it on it two times (separated by a day each time). The next day I tried it again and to my surprise it started to move!! Took it off completely and saved at least $150. This was a tough test and it worked. Does it actually create a chemical reaction to dissolve rust? or is this just bs advertizing?** A: As all rust “eaters” go, I believe it breaks up the bond that rust creates so you can loosen what ever it is your working on. So far, this product works really well for me. **Q: Anyone ever use it on bicycle chain?** A: Free All is not recommended on bicycle chains as this penetrating oil is used to break down rust bonds.
