A: yes, it is 100% glycol and is not harmful.

**Q: What is the expiration date of this item?**
A: I received 2 new canisters in March 2020. 
They will expire April 2022.

**Q: Has anyone had success using this for stabilizing wood, like for bowl turning?**
A: Yes this product work wonderful.  It is the generic of Miralax just less money.  I used one capfull each morning until there was no more "wood"
