Build the battlefield beyond -- the Siege is over, but the war for Cybertron has just begun. The Autobots and Deceptions have left Cybertron, but their battle rages on as they speed through space in pursuit of the all spark. Now, fighters must instantly adapt to battle anywhere in the cosmos. With the highly advanced a.I.R. (Adaptable interconnection retrofitter) locks system, the fighters don't head to the battlefield -- they become it. Bots capable of converting into modular battle stations can a.I.R.-Lock together in custom configurations to fit the needs of battle.this ecosystem of collectible figures allows fans to build out epic space battle scenes! The ironworks Modulator figure converts into a modular battle station mode. The eccentric Autobot communications expert, ironworks, disassembles in 10 steps and reassembles into station mode in another 10 steps.

**Q: What are its vehicle modes called?**
A: While technically not traditional vehicles, Iron Works transforms into a loading bay and a wind mill.  In generation one, there was a propellor for this Windmill, but due to budgetary issues, Hasbro was unable to include a propellor with this figure.  However, third party offerings do give you the option to add one.

**Q: What other transformers are compatible with his armor up mode?**
A: Any and all transformers that have 5 millimeter weapon ports care compatible with the weapons.  Armor on the other hand is only compatible with figures from siege and earth rise as they are the only ones to possess foot mounted ports meant for armor.  There may be others I am unaware of.

**Q: Does Ironworks include the cars as pictured?**
A: No, he doesn't.  those are sold separately.
