## Description

Product Description Kreg KJMICRODGB Jig Micro Drill Guide System desertcart.com Works perfectly with narrow stock, down to 1-inch wide (view larger). With a 25 percent smaller hole diameter, the Micro Pocket Drill Guide from Kreg (model KJMICRODGB) lets you create more compact, low profile Pocket-Holes in the same joinery applications, but also tackle smaller projects, thinner stock, and tighter repair applications, where standard Pocket-Holes simply can't go. Designed for use with the Kreg Jig or Kreg Jig Master System. Endless ApplicationsThe 25 percent smaller hole works great in virtually every application you'd use standard Pocket-Holes in, and because it removes less material, drill strokes are faster and easier as well. Perfect for 1/2-Inch Stock Screw heads seat well below material surface in thin stock, perfect for creating fully pluggable Pocket-Holes in 1/2-inch thick material like drawer boxes. Drill guide works in the Kreg Jig or Kreg Jig master system (view larger). Perfect for Narrow Stock The reduced width lets you drill two holes across extremely narrow stock — down to 1-inch wide — creating a much stronger joint in narrow pieces. Choose Your Jig Compatible with the Kreg Jig and Kreg Jig Master System, it features a black color to differentiate from the standard drill guide.About Kreg Tool CompanyIn 1986 Craig Sommerfeld was in the process of building his house and needed to find a way to attach his doweled face frames to his kitchen cabinet carcase members. A tool and die maker by trade, but a woodworker out of necessity, Craig had a problem. Not wanting to nail them on and then fill with putty, he designed and built "Craig's Jig" which was a single-hole pocket hole jig crafted from steel and aluminum that allowed him to attach the face frames from the inside of the cabinet where the joint could be hidden from view.In the intervening years, Kreg Tool Company has emerged as the leader in Pocket Hole Technology. From the manual Kreg Jig to the fully-automatic Pro Series machines, Kreg offers a simple solution that has changed the way thousands of woodworkers join wood.KJMICRODGB Jig Micro Drill Guide SystemAt a GlanceFully compatible with the Kreg Jig and Kreg Jig Master SystemFeatures black color to differentiate from standard drill guideWorks perfectly with 1/2-inch stockWorks perfectly with narrow stock, down to 1-inch wideIncludes the micro pocket drill bit, depth collar, and starter screw setWorks with Kreg Pan Head Pocket-Hole Screws (SPS) P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); From the Manufacturer The new Kreg micro pocket drill guide allows woodworkers to drill a pocket-hole which is 25-Percent smaller than our standard pocket-holes and is perfect for use with 1/2-Inch material. The smaller pocket-hole and shorter 3/4-Inch pan head screws work to secure thinner materials and still keep the head of the screw below your fi nished surface, while at the same time easing the drill stroke and creating smaller more low-profile pocket-holes for every day use. Review: Excellent Drill Guide - I have been using Kreg's pocket hole drill guides to create cabinets for 30+ years. At long last I decided to use pocket holes to create the drawers that go in the cabinets. The Micro Jig Drill Guide worked as advertised with 1/2" thick poplar material; actually the material was slightly less than 1/2". The Micro Jig uses a drill that is smaller in diameter than the standard drill. As a result you can place the screws closer together which allows for additional screws to make the drawer corners quite secure. Note: The Micro Jig come with a drill and stop collar but not a square driver for the screws. The jig comes with a small assortment of screws, but additional screws will need to be purchased for completing your project. Speaking of screws . . . Even though various instructions and videos talk about using 3/4" screws for 1/2" stock I used 1" screws with no problem. The general rule of thumb is coarse thread screws for softer woods and fine thread screws for hardwoods. With the 3/4" screws there is only a fine thread version that is available, so I elected to go with 1" screws since they are more readily available in either coarse or fine thread.
Review: Recently I needed smaller pocket holes for a small project and Kreg had this perfect tool for it - I've had my Kreg K3 jig set for years and many, many uses. Recently I needed smaller pocket holes for a small project and Kreg had this perfect tool for it. The jig performed well in my K3 jig set and made perfect smaller pocket holes for this this first project made with it. The project is now complete. I made burial urns for two very special, but departed pets, and these urns were only 5 1/2" square, 6 1/2" high and made from 11/16 thick mahogany. The tops needed to be attached with smaller and shorter pocket screws than could be used with the standard sized holes that are made with my K3 jig so this insert and smaller drill bit when used in the K3 allowed me to make these smaller pocket holes..

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was a great jig addition to my kreg lineup
*by B***N on September 2, 2016*

This was a great jig addition to my kreg lineup. I needed it to successfully pocket hole 1/2" baltic birch drawers and it works very well. The screws sit below the surface and they are small and fine enough to not split the wood. I have used this for all other micro joints and projects requiring smaller fasteners. Another excellent product from Kreg. Best part is it fits the normal sized kreg jig holder!
