At minimum height of 13 inches sits perfectly above the top of a laptop at eye level. Maximum height is 42 inches so you can adjust it to eye level (which is recommended for video conferencing).The legs are made of sturdy aluminium. The swivel, tilt etc. controls are made of plastic. It comes with a phone holder, Bluetooth remote control and some extras (see photos). Handy travel pouch is included.It is perfect for holding your webcam or phone. Has standard 1/4 inch screw fit. So easy to use.As others have said it probably wont be 100% sturdy in the wind but then why would you want to use it when it was that windy. You can always use the mobile phone adaptor on a regular tripod if you needed it to be sturdier.I have a huawei p20 pro, so not a small or light phone but have had no problems with using the tripod, i was worried it may tip over but no problems.I have had it set up in the garden to capture the birds and have got some lovely photos using the remote which wouldn't have been possible if i had been holding the phone as I couldn't have got as close.its really light and great for taking on walks to be able to take our photos, much better than taking selfies where you cant capture the background very well.Only had the tripod a week and cant wait to be able to get with it and test it some more.and its been great so far, its very lightweight so we have been able to take it on our walks and have used it in the garden ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight and easy to handle *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 August 2020* My overall experience of using this tripod is good!The Tilt/Pan Handle feature is really good, and simple to use, the other locking knobs were sturdy and did their job well.However the tripod could be improved by giving it more flexibility, by adding another hinge or increasing the traverse angle of the top hinge.Structure wise it is perfect on flat floors, there are no vibrations or sudden movements that may affect your camera. The bottom section of the telescopic legs were somewhat weak, and could cause it to tip over or bend if using a heavy camera. The added feature of the clips at each section of the telescopic legs is excellent! It works perfectly and ensures the legs do not slip or move accidentally.Another advantage of this tripod is that it is very lightweight, you could carry it anywhere in your hand with ease.The folding and relatively small footprint makes it very portable.For this price it is a bargain!
