The night vision would have been great, however I was really disappointed, had to use my torch as a back light. There is no playback on the camera, rather plug into your computer. It is easy to use and does do a good quality picture. The remote control does not work at all. If you want to film daytime that's fine, but for night work, don't bother to be honest.
