I feel these top selling "e" boards serve a different purpose.The boosted board is intended for big city/metro areas. Youtube celebs like Casey Neistat and Sam Sheffer all have and reviewed both boards but both agree that the boosted board is better. I can see why they agree......they live in NY this would make sense as alternative transportation mechanism thats what there looking for, there busy youtubers making content and need to be at point "A"to point "B". Its there alt vehicle...The speed, acceleration, uphill climbing is not top notch and if you need to get anywhere quick and fast then boosted is your choice.HOWEVER, the M1 purpose is more of a hybrid "e" board. The hub motors actually allow you to use this board as a true long board, you can kick push this board and it feels smooth and rides great when not running on the battery, when your going down hills or even straightaway's you can just coast and carve (which to me is the best thing about long boarding).You can kick push the boosted board without some serious kick pushing and you dont get to far, i dont even know why boosted says you can do it, but i have and its a pain in the @#$.The other notable aspect is there are alot of you tube reviews and other reviews that talk about the miss-claim on mileage. I have gotten 8-10 miles a single battery, but i did this buy conserving the electric power and did some free kick pushing, which again is something i want to do in a long board experience, and i was able too as well with the terrain i have where i live.As for the acceleration this is the only shortfall, i have to agree there it creeps you have to kick push to get up to speed, but i am ok with that.The quality build and design is fantastic, get alot of feedback on how nice the board looks. You have easy swappable battery capability, front and back head lights for night riding. A nice carry bag---great work for adding this INBOARD (thumbs up).If your looking to have fun and cruise as well as get to places i would go for the M1 its a great hybrid and i am having a ton of enjoyment on it.Get extra batteries always good to have and you can extend your range +++++.Now my only negative comment and why 4 not 5 is the mobile app....its not good at all and I hope inboard updates the app to be more like the boosted board.+++++++++++++++++++UPDATE+++++++++++++++++++++++OK so i have had the board to close to a year now, and the board is still working and running well, however had an issue with the remote but the customer service team at INBOARD was amazing and shipped me a new one in a few days, and i was back riding. My only disappointment is that I wish the battery would last longer considering the technology that is out today.Now after only having it for less than 2 months. I think the ability to update the firmware of the motors/board through the app is also a giant plus.
