A: Yes, just the very latest models use dot 4. Dot 3 is what you should use, and synthetic is best

**Q: Does this contain silicone?**
A: No. Silicone brake fluid is designated "DOT 5" and cannot EVER be mixed with any other type of brake fluid. This is regular DOT 3 brake fluid that is used in many passenger car and light truck applications. Check your owner's manual for your car's specific requirement. It may be DOT 4, in which case this is not the correct choice either.

below the MIN line *2 or the brake warning
light comes on, add Genuine NISSAN Super
Heavy Duty Brake Fluid or equivalent DOT 3
fluid up to the MAX line *1 . If fluid must be
added frequently, the system should be checked
by a NISSAN dealer.
