It was, and the one I have still is, a brilliant product. BUT...Palco has apparently gone out of business, and Ambimed bought the design, rights, etc. and now makes the product. Either I got a lemon, or the Ambimed version of the product is vastly inferior to the original...parts didn't fit together perfectly and function smoothly. The power of the spring is less than before, or maybe its functional strength is reduced by internal resistance due to ill-fitting components. Seems like the new guys have cut corners in engineering and manufacturing in an attempt to save a few pennies. I returned the one I got. Will try buying it again in the hopes that the first was a lemon.
