They are way better than any of the options in the big pet stores. They are easy to clean and the tip is both soft on a pets tender gums and firm enough that a cat doesn’t bite through it. Perfect for feeding or medicine. I have a cat that needed to be force fed due to fatty lipidosis AND diabetes. I had to be certain of how much food I got into her to adjust insulin dosage. I had found it impossible to get enough food down another cat, years ago, who also had to be force fed. Had I had this handy syringe, I could have more effective in getting food into him and could have savd his life. I found I could use the prescription diet straight, not watered with this syringe and get food down in a hurry. I just put the right amount of food into a plastic bag/baggie, clip off a corner and pipe it like icing into the syringe. Didn’t have to dilute it to suck it up into the syringe. I was able to get the syring in, push the plunger to eject the food into the cat’s mouth and pull it back out fast enough to avoid getting a head jerk orother evasive action from my cat. This syringe is a lifesaver, literally. I as able to reverse the hepatic lipidosis AND the eliminate the need for insulin. Her liver and pancreas are now both working again. Review: The best vet syringe I have encountered. - I usedvthis for the care of my dog. The syringe works very well. Easy to fill and administer smoothly and with minimal resistance. The soft tip can be cut shorter and will still have a soft edge , so no risk of hurting the inside of the mouth.
