I had no idea that iron pans could be seasoned and become non-stick with vegetable oil. The handle is sturdy. Edges are tall enough to cook chicken or fish for 2 people. And construction quality is good. There was no rusting or holes. It's removable handle is super useful when you are making pizza and want to pull it out of the oven. No need of oven mittens or anything else. 8 months down the line: no trouble with handle, still working perfectly. Added image. Review: It's excellent cookware, but this is heavy, so handle with care - Works excellently as a non-stick pan, better than any teflon coated pan I have ever used. Uses less oil in general. Very easy to clean. I prefer to wash with some soap and water and steel wool, and wipe dry. I don't apply oil. I don't mind a little rusting that happens overnight, just wipe it off with a damp cloth. The wooden handle is a great plus point. BUT this pan is significantly heavy. If you bring it down with force on a granite top it could crack it. So check out other options of pans with slightly less thickness, before buying this, if handling a heavy pan may be an issue for you. ## Features - 100% Natural and Toxin-Free Cookware: Crafted from pure cast iron, this skillet offers a completely healthy cooking experience. The handle is very good, sturdy, and attractive. A well-fitting lid with a wooden handle would have made an excellent addition to an already superior skillet. ## Frequently Bought Together - Healthy Choices Cast Iron Skillet, 10.5" with Detachable Wooden Handle, Iron Skillet for Camping, Small Cast Iron Pan, Dishwasher Safe, Indoor and Outdoor Use, Safe on Induction, Stovetop or Open Fire - Full Circle Tenacious C Bamboo Dish Brush and Scraper - Kitchen Cleaning Tool Set for Cast Iron Cookware, Dishes, Pots, Sinks - Tough Nylon Bristles, Scrub Brushes with Handle --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/154840864-healthy-choices-cast-iron-skillets-27-6-cm-10-5](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/154840864-healthy-choices-cast-iron-skillets-27-6-cm-10-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
