Found out later that if not correctly inserted it can be felt and is therefore easy to tell. To make sure it is correctly inserted just try to pull from the stem softly and if there is resistance, voila, it's well inserted. + Taking it out was fairly easy. Just pull a bit from the stem, pinch the bottom, that's it. + There was no bad smell and I loved the fact that I am not creating any trash. [+ I felt like my period ended sooner, not sure if that's a thing.] And here are some aspects that make me think: - Although small, (as confirmed by recent study) there is a risk of toxic shock syndrome, which made me a bit uncomfortable. - I wish there was an easier/better way to clean. I saw that there are devices, am planning to check them out later.
