A: Sorry, I don't have experience of gerbils but if you can feed normal hay to gerbils then this will be even tastier.

A: You can store this hay for up to a year, quite easily as its fully dried out. Just ensure to keep the hay stored somewhere that is dry, away from damp environments. 

As you have 4 guinea pigs, 12lb of hay will only last you about 4-6 weeks if they are anything like our guinea pigs. 

We keep our hay inside, along with our guinea pigs to avoid it becoming damp.
