For example I used the 12V output to not only trigger an amp, but also used it to trigger a 12V relay to power up a standalone carplay screen. Here is what is very important; some newer vehicles send continous voltage through speaker wires which will keep this unit on all the time. If you hook it up like described above do the standard quick test, turn on car, run, etc. Then turn off, if LOC/ Amps stay on for more than like a minute, then use the blue wire to hook up to cig lighter and test again. This connects to you left and right rear speaker, sends a power signal to the amp to turn on via remote wire. You might have to splice the remote wire coming back so it turns both amps on. I think the y connector should work fine though. I’m an electrician though, not a car audio installer. Lol. RCA outs from the KISLOC2 go to the amp input. It actually does turn the amp on and off with the car/power to the head unit!
