Will this fit?** A: Mine did ! A small gap should be fine though .The shape allows water to be diverted slightly forward of the screen , although small children or dogs playing with the flexible shower head at low level may cause a way out . Incidently , the picture shows the seal in the wrong position for fitting to the bottom of the door . Hope this helps ! F. **Q: Is this to be used vertically?** A: The adjacent illustration to our mind is upside down with the groove, when facing upward, enabling it to be fitted to the bottom of a sliding glass door with the curved section shedding water off the screen into the shower tray. It works well for us in that situation i.e. mounted horizontally. **Q: Is this the only length ?Looking for over double the advertised length** A: You may be able to get longer sections elsewhere. ( my customer was a grumbly old cow & wouldn't understand ! )It arrived today & fitted in 5 minutes . Because the old seal had hardened & begun to fragment , & was catching the shower frame rather firmly when closing , it saved her the likelyhood of a new door if it broke , about £200 . I wasn't even offered a coffee !I have used this company before , & will continue to use them in the future .
