Review: Highly Effective - This band is perfect and exactly what I needed. I have a tendonitis in my thigh and hip joint. This band applies the exact pressure needed on my quad to prevent it from pulling on the tendon so it can heal. I highly recommend this band. It would also work on other tendon issues such as your forearm or knee.
Review: Great—but too much velcro!! - I really like this band! It stays where I put it, it’s comfortable enough that I sometimes forget I’m wearing it, and it really helps my body move better when I exercise! My IT band has been mad ever since a recent surgery, and this is such a huge help. I did have to trim the velcro straps somewhat, as the size was not well suited to the shape of the band and the tiny hooks that comprise the fastener tugged at my leg hair and scraped up my skin before I ever went for my first walk wearing it. The band would be quite a bit better if this was adjusted at the manufacturing level. I cut away probably 5 millimeters in width from each of the two velcro fasteners—I imagine the manufacturer could save a bit of money if these were cut thinner and more precisely from the outset, and it would mean a better, more comfortable product for customers. All in all, I’m pleased with it, though! I just wish I hadn’t had to tailor it straight out of the box in order to use it comfortably.

This band is perfect and exactly what I needed. I have a tendonitis in my thigh and hip joint. I really like this band! It stays where I put it, it’s comfortable enough that I sometimes forget I’m wearing it, and it really helps my body move better when I exercise! My IT band has been mad ever since a recent surgery, and this is such a huge help. I did have to trim the velcro straps somewhat, as the size was not well suited to the shape of the band and the tiny hooks that comprise the fastener tugged at my leg hair and scraped up my skin before I ever went for my first walk wearing it. The band would be quite a bit better if this was adjusted at the manufacturing level. I wasn't sure how much just a strap would help my IT band pain, but it actually helped a great deal! I am a generally skinny person and so the velcro overlaps quite a bit and was annoying on my skin, so I cut and taped the edges with gaffer's tape, which helps, but it should probably fit most other people.
