Comes with two sizes of threads, one is an insert for smaller threads and the other is actually threaded into the part. Since the knobs were Danco this spout matched them exactly. Needed to replace the bathtub knobs and the spout was in bad shape also so I got the same Danco brand. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plastic 1/2" adapter was cross-threaded, but work with some work.

This is the 2nd unit I bought. The first was an easily install, but this one had an used or possibly crossed-threaded plastic adapter. It took an extra 30 minutes to re-thread (with telfon tape and pipe dope) to prevent leakage. It would be much better if adapter was metal.
