I do not think I have driven my car and not use the leather console armrest to lay my arm on. This cover feels like the actual leather underneath and it stays in place. It does not move at all. I wish I had this sooner, but I'm glad I have it now before there was any severe damages visible on my leather console armrest. I hope this cover will protect the integrity of the leather console armrest in the long run.
