One does not feel any flexes or squeaks when putting ones feet on it. The angle adjustment is fine and just stiff enough that it does not move on its own. The texture on the surface is good and even serves a massaging function when used barefoot.I would have liked to have it a couple inches higher, but not a problem as I can always prop it up with something at the bottom. The product is very easy to use and can be rotated around its axis to suit one's needs, hence my feet firmly rest on a surface now.
