A: No it is not electric. It is great for small children.

**Q: How much weight can it hold ? I have a special needs client she weights 140 and is 5ft 4 and wants this badly**
A: That’s too much weight this is a toddler scooter my son weighs 60 pounds and I dnt let him get on it. I bought it for my 3 year old who weighs 27 pounds just right for her.

**Q: Does it have musics?**
A: The scooter comes with lights on the wheels but not music sounds. Very nice scooter !
