The product is awesome! I am natural with a combination of all type 4 hair textures. After my most recent wash, I intentionally omitted the frizz control. When I "took down" my flat twist (after being intact for 3 days) , the hair was frizzy and my curls were not defined.On my most recent wash, I used the frizz control, it was phenomenal!! On my most recent twist out, my curls were defined, intact with no frizz. I cannot speak for other hair types but if you have 3c-4c hair, it's definitely worth it.

I needed some that will hold my edges but don't flake. Now you have to be really easy on how much you use because it will form a white film around your edges when you sweat. Overall I like it but I don't use a lot of it. A little goes a long way.

Can I just say how much I love this product!!!??? When my hair was shorter, I swore by the flaxseed curling gel. As my hair got longer it no longer worked. I saw a tutorial on youtube about this 1 and thought why not try. My first go round was fingercoils, they came out amazing and the style lasted for an entire week..even after loosening them up. What sealed the deal for me was my wash and go. My hair is fire!!! with defined curls that needed next to no manipulation. Ive literally been stopped and asked how did I get my hair like this. This is most definitely worth the money.

This smells great. It does exactly what it says it will do. The downside is that this gel becomes very flaky and it produces a lot of buildup after two days. I recommend washing this out after one day, or there is potential for many flakes. This left my hair moisturized and not dry at all, but the flakes are intense.

I tried out a sample of this from my sister and fell in love with it! I usually shampoo my hair twice, which leaves my hair a bit dry even if I do let the conditioner sit first. Not with this magic bottle! My hair is so soft now. Even when it dries! Yeah the price is a little high, but definitely worth it if you're looking to treat yourself and your hair.

Definition and gloss on my 4c hair

I love all of the Aunt Jackie products i use but this one is special. I did my out of control curly red hair with frizz with my usual routine and was left with controlled and glossy hair. BTW my hair is always dull.I used the LOC method and included Cantu define and shine custardThen gel. My hair never looked as good except when it was straightened with shine spray.It took me 3 years and a linen closet full of hair supply failures and here i am!!! FINALLY !!!!Also no flakes, except my sister in law!

This product works great on my 4A/4B hair. Defines curls and leaves hair soft and touchable. I have used it as a "one and done" and it worked a treat. I have used it with a leave in and works great, just beware not to load the hair with too much leave in or butter etc before using this product as it can cause flakes. I would say this would be great for types 3s and 4s. Type 2s could use it but sparingly, especially if you have fine hair or low density hair.

Excellent for curly type 3A 3B hair, it lasts for a long time as it’s a solution in the bottle and the pump turns it into mouse. One tin of mouse lasts my daughter 3 or 4 applications, this has lasted her well over a month maybe 2 months. Doesn’t leave a crunchy residue and leaves a nice flow to her curl pattern. It’s on her repeat but list now, a lot with the same brands gel, curl custard and leave in conditioner

First time using this product after watching several YouTube video. This product definitely defined the curls in my hair. However it has definitely left my hair dry and brittle. I was also not happy with the cello tape across the jar. Appears to have been tampered with before I received.

This mousse is a little bit more than the others for GOOD REASON. It is far superiour to any of the other set/wrap mousses on the market. It is not too watery so good for maniputaing the hair, it dries quickly, the hold is perfect, its not flaky and it doesnt dry the hair out (mine is bleach white). I've tried others and will be returning them. This is the only mousse for me
