Review: Stable 5v continuous after a year of use - Working well after a year of continuous use. I have a voltage monitor attached to it and it's a very stable 5v. Actual voltage sometimes drops to ~4.97v which is still basically dead-on for all intents and purposes.
Review: Awesome little Solid State power transformer. Worth the 11.99! - So far so good. Took 12v DC batter and hooked it up, output side was 5.18v DC. Input voltage as low as 10v DC still puts out 5.18v DC. Haven’t tested 24v DC yet but I’m sure it’s the same. So far is great, small and love the screw terminals. Perfect for supplying power to a small fuse block to distribute power to dash cam, gps, and cell charger. I personally will be using this to power an Arduino micro, that is communicating to a viper alarm, when there is detected tilt, the Arduino will send me a text via Cell phone shield, as well as enable strobe lights to flash and blow the air horn at intervals. This powers up the Arduino, and the relay shield. Perfect size as it’s not much bigger then a 40mm fan!

**Q: Can this take an 18v input?**
A: tested with a 15v source safe.   
general 15-34 should be safe, it's a wide input range..
it's a step down so as long as the supply is about 30% higher in voltage there should be no prob assuming the current is available from your source.

**Q: I have 24v ryobi lithium that I want to use as a power bank for charging devices. Will this work if I wire 12volt usb plugs coming out?**
A: USB is 5 volt , not 12 volt , you would run the 24 battery into the input side of the regulator ,and 5 volts out , goes to the positive and negative charging wires , I would recommend getting a USB charger jack can be mounted to something

**Q: will it work with 12 or 24 volt input?**
A: 24 Volt DC, Input, converts to 12 Vdc.
Its a converter, not an inverter. It is not a stabilizer.

**Q: Ul? ce? any rating at all?**
A: UL doesn't apply to low voltage (<50V).  CE means it was third party tested to conform to international standards.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If only I found this before!

I was attempting to create a 5V system for my motorcycle to run a few external electronics. Initially I used 4 step-down buck converters.. this was a pain to wire in, nor did it provide the high current that I needed. Max 8A. The module that I bought (12V->5V Max 15A) obviously can handle a lot more. I haven't maxed it out, but I intend to get close! It is smaller than the power supply I built, water resistant, simple, and cost effective! Everything I look for in a product. I've had it plugged in for about a month now, with no load and it still outputs the same voltage. Will update if anything goes wrong when the project is finished. So far so good though! Happy customer.
