*BS 7671 18TH EDITION (IET WIRING REGULATIONS) HAS BEEN PUBLISHED AND IS EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST JANUARY 2019* These 20mm fire resistant white spacer bar saddles are manufactured for use with PVC conduit and are compliant to BS 7671 and BS 8434-2 Cables are retained within the saddle strap ensuring safer environments for fire teams and civilians in fire situations. White spacer bar saddles receive a surface coating that is colour matched to suit most UK systems. Fire rated to 930°C for 120 minutes, these white spacer bar saddles exceeded the stringent test requirements of BS 8434-2 BS 7671: Chapter 52 Amendment - Amendment 3 of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations stipulates that "a suitable fire resistant means of support/retention must be provided to prevent cables falling out "in the event of a fire". Steel conduit tube, fittings and accessories are used to route and protect electrical wiring inside or outside a building or structure in domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
