**Q: Is this good for shabbat?**
A: Yes! Very good. Been using it like that for years now. It does not get super hot like the cheap foreign made ones sold in some stores. This is much safer. I would strongly reccomend you buy a timer and don't leave it on all of shabbos. That's not safe at all.

**Q: can I select the temperature?**
A: No, it heats to a certain temperature and remains at that temperature for approximately 2 hrs. after unpluging

**Q: Does this contain ptfe, pfoa, or any form of teflon?**
A: Salton Hotray model TWT30 has a stainless steel surface.  This product contains no PTFE, PFOA, or Teflon.

**Q: Can you put ceramic, glass, stoneware, etc platters on this, or does it get too hot?  Do you need to only use oven-safe things like pyrex and metal?**
A: Always use oven-safe or heat-proof dishes, containers or crockery with Salton Hotray model TWT30.
