It has a very smooth, not green taste! I am a very picky eater. I have to force most anything green down. My 3 year old is a bit better than I am, but she will pull anything that looks black or green out of her food (spices, kale, spinach, etc) She and I will eat broccoli, and peas (if they are mixed into food). This Green Powder is the exception! We call it the "Magic Drink". We mix it into smoothies, or simply with orange juice. I only give her 1/2 scoop in the orange juice, because the energy from this makes her quite energetic and chatty. I only give it to her in the morning for this reason. Any sugars come from the fruits and vegetables in the mix. Doesn't taste sweet at all. Can be mixed with anything, I use frozen fruits or juice **Q: Does this have Gluten in it? I see there is oat bran as one of the ingredients.** A: It does not state Gluten Free as you can see on the container. One concern with oat flour (and possibly oat bran) is that there may be contamination with wheat, rye, or barley during the process of milling.
