Mind you, I bought it at Target for a reasonable price. Now that Downy is gouging consumers who need unscented (like me, because of allergies) by charging 3x more I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere. It is worth nowhere near $20+ per bottle!! **Q: It says 192 loads here which means 0.5 oz per load. Approx. how many ounces are needed for a medium load?** A: Not 100% sure but I use this softener with the downy ball and it's honestly maybe 3 taplespoons. You def don't need a lot **Q: After time this softener gets lumpy. Is this ok?** A: Fabric softener can get lumpy if it's exposed to extreme cold or hot temperatures. It's ok if you want to continue using it, just be sure to mix a capful of the product with 1/2 cup warm water until blended.
