I originally bought the 'subzero' serius liners , and those are very thick (practically gloves on their own) and did not fit in my gloves. These thermax liners are quite thin and work fit perfectly within the assos glove. Most noteably the biggest difference between a seirus liner and a 1$ knit glove from a gas station, is that the Seirus wick sweat away quite well, so despite some wind, your hands aren't being chilled. I used these on a 2hr ride this past weekend with the assos gloves over them , where the average temp was at 32F this weekend and my hands well fine the whole time. It's not like the warmest thing possible, but did not lose feeling , nor did i 'think' about them during the ride. I know everyone has their own personal gauge of cold/hot and stuff, but in my opinion these liners were money well spent! Review: Great glove liners - I've used these glove liners for years. This past November, I was deer hunting in southern Wisconsin. The second morning, it was 2 degrees above zero and, fortunately, there was no wind. All I needed on my hands were these glove liners. About half the time, my gloved hands were in my coat pocket, and the other half, they were outside exposed to the cold air. At no time were my hands or fingers cold. Be advised, though, that if there is much wind, it will cut through the liners and you will feel in on your hands and fingers. They are NOT designed to serve as your only hand protection in windy conditions. Be advised also that they are rather thin. This is good in that you have full finger dexterity, but the tips of the fingers can rapidly wear out. I usually go through at least one glove liner each year. Thus, I normally buy these in groups of 4 to 6 pair at a time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do the job, better for slight chill than real cold *by S***R on December 7, 2012* I have four pair of these, and I try to keep a pair in every jacket that I might wear in the winter time. They're reasonably priced, comfortable, and wash well. I find these are best used as light gloves on moderately chilly days (e.g., 35-45F, or a lower to 25 or 30 if it's not windy). They feel good and provide just enough extra warmth to work. If it's very cold, however, you will need real gloves. But as liners: I don't find that these add much. They make the gloves tight and add very little warmth over and above the gloves themselves. Silk liners are just as good for warmth in that situation but have a much better comfort and fit. (But silk liners are not as good for being light-weather glove stand-ins, due to fragility and thinness.) If you want real liner warmth, I'd suggest springing (and they're costly) for one of the ski-type mittens with thumbs and insulation.
