Nor do I have to worry about having to put them back on every time I take my camera out to use it. The bubble levels work perfectly. I leveled the ball head on my tripod. I put the level on the hot shoe of both the D7500 and the D5100 on the tripod. The hot shoe levels both agreed the camera was level. I should note, once I level the Arca plate then attach the camera, I can’t see the level on the ball head. Knowing I can level my camera on any head is a big plus. (Who wants to see a landscape with the sea running downhill from one side to the other in a shot!) Both the eye cup and shoe mounted levels work as they should. What else do you need to know?!
