I bought this as I am on a quest for the perfect popcorn. I still have other brands to try but I must say how surprised I was when this started coming out of my air popper! The kernels popped up and they are freakin huge!!! Who knew popcorn could be this large! I LOVE IT!!!!I will buy this again but it will take some time as I have a lot of other brands to try.I am not getting any benefit from writing this, I just want to share my pleasant surprise with this popcorn! ### ⭐⭐⭐ 50/50 *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2020* Being new at buying mushroom kernels, this product unfortunately produces only about 50% or less of mushroom shaped popcorn. The rest is regular large yellow kernels. This is disappointing as the price and quality doesn’t justify another purchase of this brand ever again. On a good note, if done properly on the stove top, almost all the kernels fully popped and the popcorn itself is crisp and tender even though it’s not completely without hulls so to speak. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It's not the corn, it's the method. *by R***D on Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2016* I also was not getting the mushroom shape results that I was expecting when I tried out this corn. First time out, I estimate only 5% were mushroom shaped, the second time around 20%. Come to find out, it's not the corn, it's the process. A little internet research found that in order to get the ball shape, oil must be heated to 400F. Since I am microwaving my corn without oil, the temperature can't be controlled or estimated.Other than that, the corn is on the chewier side although I did not get overwhelmed by husks like some of the other reviewers.
