Review: AMAZING!! - Big, even cooking — and I’m already eyeing a second one ★★★★★ I use this skillet to batch-cook homemade dog food for my three dogs, and the size is perfect for big portions in one go. It defrosts frozen turkey, ground beef, and ground chicken quickly on low, and cooks everything evenly every time. I actually owned this exact skillet before through another retailer, but the glass lid shattered after I dropped it. I searched for months trying to find a replacement and it was sold out everywhere, so when I finally spotted it available on desertcart — in a gorgeous color, at a great price — I grabbed it immediately. It’s also genuinely nonstick, so nothing clings to the surface and cleanup is easy. The top part comes off to wash separately too, which makes the whole process simple — no scrubbing the stovetop or extra pans, just the skillet itself. I’m already considering a backup in case this one ever sells out again. Review: Absolutely Love This Electric Skillet! A Must-Have for Every Kitchen! - I’m beyond impressed with this DASH Family Size Electric Skillet. I purchased it on July 21, 2025, and it has completely transformed how I cook for my family! The 14-inch nonstick surface is huge—perfect for cooking large meals without crowding. Whether I’m making fajitas, pancakes, burgers, or even cookies, everything cooks evenly and cleanup is a breeze. What really sets this apart is the 1400-watt power—it heats up fast and maintains temperature beautifully. The 20-cup capacity is no joke. I’ve cooked entire breakfasts in one go with room to spare. The included recipe book was a nice bonus and gave me a few creative new ideas to try out too! The build quality is excellent, the lid fits snugly, and the temperature control is responsive and easy to use. Plus, it looks sleek and modern on my counter in black. If you’re on the fence—don’t be! This skillet is worth every penny. It’s now my go-to appliance for quick, delicious, and mess-free meals. Highly recommend! ## Features - Extra Large Electric Skillet, One-Pan Dinners: The 14-Inch Cooking Surface holds 6 quarts and serves up to 8; stir fry, fajitas, and weeknight pasta go from start to finish in one pan, no second pot - Three Heat Levels, One Simple Dial: Low caramelizes onions and poaches eggs, Medium handles grilled cheese and stir frying, High sears meat and turns out pancakes; the Indicator Light glows when on - Easy-Release Nonstick: Eggs, cheese, and sticky sauces slide off instead of baking on; a quick hand wash and the Cooking Surface is clean, with no soaking and no scraping after dinner - Built-In Lid Rest: Park the dripping Glass Lid on the built-in Lid Rest instead of your countertop; it doubles as a spoon rest, so drips land in one place and wipe up in seconds - Versatile All-in-One Pan: A round electric skillet that doubles as an electric meal prep skillet, a weekend breakfast pan for eggs and bacon, and a second burner on a busy stove; Recipe Guide included ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07RX2BBTV | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,414 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #3 in Electric Skillets | | Brand | DASH | | Brand Name | DASH | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 4,113 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00850004115107 | | Included Components | Lid, Product, Manual, Skillet | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 16.5"D x 18.9"W x 6.7"H | | Item Type Name | Electric Skillet | | Item Weight | 8.8 pounds | | Manufacturer | Dash | | Material | Nonstick | | Material Type Free | PFOA Free | | Model Number | DRG214BK | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of settings | 3 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Manual | | Part Number | DRG214BK | | Product Dimensions | 16.5"D x 18.9"W x 6.7"H | | Product Style | Dash Family Size Skillet - Electric Skillet for Multi-Purpose Cooking -Nonstick Cooking Surface - Tempered Glass Lid & Cool-Touch Handles - Black | | Special Feature | Manual | | UPC | 850004115107 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 120.1 volts | | Warranty Type | 1-year warranty or limited warranty | | Wattage | 1400 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** DASH - **Color:** Black - **Included Components:** Lid, Product, Manual, Skillet - **Item Weight:** 8.8 pounds - **Material:** Nonstick - **Product Dimensions:** 16.5"D x 18.9"W x 6.7"H - **Special Feature:** Manual - **Voltage:** 120.1 volts - **Wattage:** 1400 watts ## Images ![Dash 14 Inch Family Sized Electric Skillet - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Pz7YvIDzL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Material Type, Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How long is the cord?** A: About 12 inches. **Q: Can I bake a small cake?** A: In the customer picture section, some one did bake a cake. **Q: Where is this manufactured?** A: I still have the original box that my dash skillet came in and on the bottom of the box it says New York. But that's the only address and state that's showing on the box. Hopefully this is helpful . **Q: is this deep enough to hold a whole chicken in?** A: Parts, but not whole. I will say however, that the knob on the lid was broke, and I sent it back and did not replace it ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AMAZING!! *by E***S on June 30, 2026* Big, even cooking — and I’m already eyeing a second one ★★★★★ I use this skillet to batch-cook homemade dog food for my three dogs, and the size is perfect for big portions in one go. Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much to like about this pan! *by S***H on May 12, 2019* This is much bigger than I realized it would be and I LOVE it! Make a lot and freeze things in individual Tupperware to eat later! So pretty and easy to clean up. Only reason I rated the temperature control low was it doesn’t show temperatures...only low to high but that is no big deal. I also couldn’t fit the control into the pan at first so I thought it was broken. I came back a couple hours later and tried again and I just didn’t push it together hard enough. Easy clean up. It is a bit large for my counter and wonder if I should have purchased the smaller size but I don’t think so because I like the idea of only using one pan to cook my eggs and pancakes in the same place! No hot spots. Don’t turn it up very high. Even on low, food heats up quick. I thought I might have burned my stir fry when I got busy and wasn’t paying attention. Other pans left as long like I did this time would have burned food. This pan did a good job of protecting food from my distractions. Could still burn food but less likely than other pans. I am ecstatic about this electric fry pan! ## Frequently Bought Together - Dash Family Size Electric Skillet with 14 inch Nonstick Surface + Recipe Book for Pizza, Burgers, Cookies, Fajitas, Breakfast & More, 20 Cup Capacity, 1400-Watt - Black - Meat Chopper, Hamburger Grinder, Premium Heat Resistant Smasher for Ground Beef, Burger Grinder Nylon Potato Mix Tool-Black - JAYEEY 25 oz Disposable Kraft paper bowls with lids, Rectangle Food containers Soup Bowls Party Supplies Treat Bowls 50 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/147970197-dash-14-inch-family-sized-electric-skillet](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/147970197-dash-14-inch-family-sized-electric-skillet) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
