It’s not 10” thick, the cover is not removable to wash, and based on the description we thought it would be more comfortable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don’t know what these bad reviews are talking about look at my pics! *by D*** on Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2021* I just purchased this futon and It did take a week to get shipped out because they are low on materials due to Covid. So this futon was made brand new. A lot of people keep saying there is a horrible chemical smell. That is the smell of something from a warehouse and it does go away after a day or two. I sprayed the mattress with lysol fabric spray and febreze and the smell was gone in a day. It is extremely comfortable and it is not as heavy as many of the reviews said. One person can open this mattress I am a woman 5’5” I had no problems. I fell asleep on it in less than 24 hrs the mattress looked full. Very comfortable I am satisfied. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Disappointed *by E***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2021* I took a chance on this since I didn’t have a good place to get one locally and the other reviews were mixed. This will work, however it did not meet my expectations. While the cover is a 10” cover, the mattress inside does NOT full it out. I let it sit for over a week hoping it would fill out the cover and it never did. Maybe the products are inconsistent and sometimes they are better, leading to positive reviews.
