I use this with my son as a blanket, sun shield, and e loves cuddling with it. It is soooo soft and a pretty big size. I was searching for a blanket that was thin for the summer Bc like many kids, my son loves to have a blanket with him at all time to cuddle with. Needless to say, This blanket goes everywhere the baby goes!! It is so light and breathable! I don't worry about him sleeping with this blanket Bc you can literally breathe thru it, although I still don't let him have it around his nose or mouth. The pattern on the blanket, from just looking at it online, I honestly thought that was the downside, but once I actually got it in the mail, I loved the cute simple pattern and it's so soft. I amAbout to order two more, I need to have one for backup when washing his original one, and it is so soft, I am buying another to just keep as a blanket on the couch. Must have blanket for parents who swaddle, and for babies who love cuddling blankets!! I was drawn to this particular Swaddle because of its adorable woodland print with the foxes (I love foxes!). I am also a big fan of the size as this is 47x47 so it is extra big. The material is super soft right out of the package and gets softer with each wash. I just threw mine in the washer with other laundry and hung it to dry. I have my little guy due soon and with my daughter I used swaddles for everything, swaddling, covering the car seat, nursing cover, stroller cover, and to lay on the ground for tummy time. I always keep an extra in my diaper bag as well. My only negatives about this swaddle are the print seems lighter than in the picture (not a big deal as it's still adorable) but worth noting. Also I do not like how they put their tag through the Swaddle when they could have put it through the tag which is about two inches away. That way they wouldn't put a hole (albeit a very tiny hole) in the actual Swaddle.
