Installed on perimeter of 1 acre yard. Only difficulty was doing the twisted-pair leg -- just took time to twist not knowing how much wire length the twisting would consume. My advice is the twisted length is much more than half of the straight length, so cut the wire around double the twisted leg distance and you will be more than sufficient. Also note that this gauge of wire doesn't settle to the ground just with gravity -- has to be held down/buried. ### ⭐ Does not work with Invisible Fence!!! *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2020* This is a solid core wire that is the same gauge as the stranded Invisible Fence Wire, but it doesn't work with it. Don't waste your time and money! Thankfully tested cable while still on the spool. There are no breaks in the cable. It just doesn't work with Invisible Fence. Too late to return it now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best dog fence wire *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2015* Absolutely the best wire for an invisible dog fence. I cover 10 acres above ground attached to my perimeter fencing. I don't expect to have any problems.
