I don't know how long it would last, because he stops riding before the battery runs down. I'm not sure why other people say the battery did not last for them. I can only think that maybe they did not follow the instruction on how to properly charge the battery when they first received it and then recharge it after every use. The power, compatibility and the price are excellent.
