I bought two sets of these Christmas lights to cover the entire front porch. It is extremely easy to choose from any of the nine lighting settings, including white or colored and blinking or solid. There are four brightness settings. There is even a timer that keeps the lights on for six hours and off for 18 hours. And both sets of light work with one controller. They are easy to set up, easy to change settings, and they look fantastic. I’ve tried dozens of types of Christmas lights over the years. These Christmas lights are absolutely worth buying and hands down the best I’ve ever had. I’ve recommended them to all me neighbors. Have a very Merry Christmas. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Clear Cord Blends with Structural Color *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2019* I like the clear/thin cord as these do not stand out and look garish in the daytime. Our home is white/earth tone colored and this set blends well with the aesthetics, unlike most other string lights that have a dark green power cord. The lights are sufficiently bright with multiple patterns and dim/brighten options. I prefer the steady mode, but the only con I see with these lights is that the selected pattern/mode is not remembered when the lights are unplugged. They go through a rotation of all the patterns rather than whatever you had previously selected. However, if you use the six-hour timer funtion and do not unplug them, then they do come on to the previous setting/pattern each night. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Paid for more than I got. It was difficult to open, but I managed to change the battery. It still didn’t work. I tried to open it again and the plastic of the open contraption collapsed in on itself, before the pull plastic piece ( not the clear) broke off. I had to use tweezers to pull it out to get my battery.
