They're road worthy, well made, look fantastic and just plain work. This unit is easy to set up, delivers sound that's as clear as a bell and has a crazy long range - all upside. I'm not particularly crazy about the SM58 cartridge though, so for this particular mic I swapped out the SM58 cartridge and used an 87C cartridge. It sounds fantastic and I bring the SM58 cartridge as a backup - not that I'll need it with Shure products.

A: G50 is capable of 27 simultaneous channels and H50, V50 and J50A ate capable of 14 maximum channels each.  X52 is capable of 12 Max.  So any of them can be used.  But it depends on how many simultaneous devices you want to run.

**Q: Is this just the SM58 wireless microphone? Or is it the microphone and receiver combo?**
A: This product is an SM58 microphone with a built-in wireless transmitter - it does not include a wireless receiver, which is required in order to use this microphone. Please note the frequency band of the product is V50 -  It important that all components in your wireless system have a matching frequency band. Please visit the Wireless Frequency Finder tool on the official Shure website for find the frequency bands that are best for your area.
