I have oily skin and deal with face and forehead sweat, especially in warm weather or when I’m nervous, and this stuff has been a total game changer. It goes on like a lightweight gel-lotion and dries quickly without feeling heavy or sticky. I use it in the morning before makeup, and it keeps my face way more matte throughout the day. The silica microspheres really help absorb the sweat, and the jojoba esters keep my skin from feeling dried out. I’ve even used it on my scalp near my hairline, and it works great there too. I’ve never been someone who sweats in my face or scalp, but a couple years ago I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism (over active thyroid) and let me tell you this disease has changed my body! I’m always running warm and sweating from areas I never have before! That’s why I’ve been trying and finding new things I can use. I usually do ok with face primers if I’m AC environment, but sometimes at work I have days where I move a lot and organize things or move things around the office. Also I wanted something that would work for if I go out dancing or something. I kept seeing ads for this on instagram and decided to try it. It did not work for me. Not only that, I started sweating from my upper lip as soon as I put it on no matter how cool my place is. It’s very strange how it works the opposite for me. I don’t know if It’s because my skin is trying to shed it out of my pores immediately or what, but it’s so annoying. I usually apply primer and then start my makeup routine just fine. With this thing I apply it and a few seconds later, my face is sweating! If you’re like me with new sweating tendencies and oily skin/large pores, I wouldn’t recommend based on how it worked for me.

**Q: Does it make your hair sticky?**
A: For me it did not. I applied on my fingers and ran through the bottom part of my hair down to my neck. I didn't use a whole lot either. It has been a couple of days since I used it and my hair still feels fine. Like nothing was put on it and it did work on stopping the sweat on my head/hair and neck.

**Q: I have to use a facial moisturizer, will it not work after applying this product first?**
A: I have used it with moisturizing my forehead (where I sweat) first and then applying Carpe and applying moisturizer after the Carpe has dried.  Seems to work both ways.

**Q: Will this dry my face out?**
A: I’ve used this for quite a few months and it has never dried my skin out. I have combination skin with an oily T-Zone. This helps decrease the oil in my T-Zone area without drying my skin out.  So far I haven’t had any issues

**Q: How is it applied to scalp**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product… for some

So I tried this product and it immediately made my skin itchy when I put it on, and it seemed to only make my face sweat a lot more after application than without it. So it’s not a great fit for my skin personally. However, I did leave a comment on Instagram explaining the situation and the company got back to me via Dm then email very quickly and all I had to do was email back my proof of purchase and they quickly refunded my purchase since it didn’t work for my skin. So for me, I have 4 stars because having a great customer service that’s so willing to work with people says a lot about a company in general! Thank you!
