For some reason the original plastic bottoms all broke off after having the chairs for 4 yrs. My husband tried using those white silicone condom looking protectors on the bottom legs but they looked horrible, those kept coming off, you couldn’t slide the chairs on the floor easy with them, and the chair legs cut through them eventually. Then I put more effort into looking for these plastic ones, measured the inside of the tube leg and ordered these and they fit perfectly! I had to use a soft mallet to hammer them in but they fit great.
