They can be setup in moments, and they can take a lot of impact without wobbling. I really like that they seem able to hold a lot of weight, and my heaviest steel targets are rock solid on these stands. The 2x4s I used to set them up were culled (damaged) wood and were literally free at Home Depot. After using them, I can see many more uses for these stands than just target shooting - (i.e. hammock stand, campsite awning stands.) Look no further. I have always used quick 2x4 target stands when we go to the range. Assemble and throw in the back of the truck, I’ve always used paper and just threw it away. I got 5 different steel targets for a gift and now I needed to set them up with my stands. I got these and they are exactly what I needed. Perfect to set up and keep plinking. Mine have taken a few rounds directly on the bolt and spring. Bullets have torn up the print but they still work very well.
